Red FM RJs in competitive mode for Makar Sankranti
Red FM is celebrating Makar Sankranti this year by encouraging Mumbaikars to join their favourite RJs in a kite flying competition – ‘Dheel De’.
Red FM is all geared up to celebrate Makar Sankranti, and this year, the FM station is encouraging Mumbaikars to revel in the festivities along with their favourite RJs by participating in a kite flying competition – ‘Dheel De’.
Dheel De will see intense competition amongst Red FM RJs Malishka, Mantra, Rohini, Neeil and Rishi, each trying to outdo the other. The listeners will be encouraged to support their favourite RJ and join their respective teams by participating in this competition on January 14, 2011 at the Oberoi International School, Goregaon.
On air promos leading up to the event are encouraging listeners to participate and be an integral part of Red FM’s Makar Sankranti celebrations. Commenting on the festive celebration, Nisha Narayanan, Senior VP - Projects & Programming, Red FM, said, “Makar Sankranti is one of the most energetic and popular festivals that is celebrated across the country. Red FM ‘Dheel De’ is an endeavour to capture the spirit of the festival on air and bring listeners together. We’ll be broadcasting the live action between 11 am and 4 pm on Friday for all of Mumbai to join in the celebrations.”
