Ajay Chacko, COO, Network18 & President, A+E Networks I TV18 has put in his papers. The development comes close on the heels of B Sai Kumar, Group CEO, Network18 putting in his papers earlier in the day on May 28, 2014. Chacko has been with the group for more than 10 years.
As COO of Network18, Chacko has been ensuring operating efficiencies and margins across businesses. He has been actively supporting management teams across functions in leveraging the network’s diverse strengths and institutionalise processes and models that unleash value across the group and its ventures.
Additionally, Chacko has been the custodian of ‘Brand Network18’.
He has also been President of A+E Networks I TV18, a joint venture between TV18 and A+E Networks, where he was responsible for the operational, strategic and financial management of the joint venture and its suite of channels and services.
In his earlier roles at Network18, Chacko has led many of the group’s businesses such as CNBC-TV18, CNBC Awaaz and Forbes India and has been instrumental in their ascendance as market leading media brands in the country.
