The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has sought clarification from Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) regarding a news report that quotes company founder Subhash Chandra saying that the Zee promoter family plans to hike its stake in the company.
In a notification issued on January 30, BSE said, “The Exchange has sought clarification from Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd on January 30, 2024, with reference to news appeared in www.moneycontrol.com dated January 30, 2024 quoting "Subhash Chandra''s statements on ZEEL stake hike under Sebi scrutiny"
“The reply is awaited,” said BSE.
