India Ahead management issues statement after the arrest of former employee
The statement said that the channel has nothing to do with allegations being made in sections of media
Post the arrest of Arvind Kumar Singh, former employee of the India Ahead news channel, in connection with a probe into the alleged Delhi excise scam, the channel has released a press statement saying that it has nothing to do with allegations being made in sections of media.
Here is the full text of the statement.
In light of various media commentary that's been going on about India Ahead News Channel, the management would like to clarify the following:
The company has been undergoing a restructuring process since January 2023. Due to certain difficulties, operations have ceased at present.
In addition, recently the names of certain individuals associated with the company in the past have been raised in some legal context. The management would like to state clearly that the company has nothing to do with these individual actions. All other speculation is bereft of facts and to be treated as such.
It must be mentioned that during the probe, the CBI said it found WhatsApp chats and records of hawala operators, which showed that Singh was allegedly instrumental in the hawala transfers.
