Kalaignar TV’s ode to womanhood is reflected in its two new programmes – a talk show on women’s issues titled ‘Azhagia Tamil Magal’ and a talent hunt show titled ‘Vaira Mangai’.

The talk show will be aired on Sundays at 8.30 am. It is designed as a debate among women focusing on issues directly connected to their welfare. It is anchored by the popular Tamil cine artist Rohini, who is part of an organisation that comes to the rescue of destitute women.

‘Vaira Mangai’, a talent hunt show for woman, will go on air from May 31 at 8 am and will be telecast on Saturdays. This programme will give women an opportunity to showcase their talents in diverse fields like dance, martial arts, arts and crafts, cookery, piloting an aircraft, driving an auto, etc. The platform will focus on recognising the outstanding talent among women.
