KC Global Media Entertainment takes over Sony Pictures’ pay channels in Asia

KC Global Media Entertainment has acquired Sony Pictures Entertainment’s pay TV channels in Asia, according to media reports.
KC Global Media’ heads Andy Kaplan and George Chien were both earlier part of the Sony network. They came together last year.
Keeping in with this development, KC Global Media has elevated Avani Bhanchawat to Vice President, Affiliates, Media and Sponsorship Sales. She will be based in Singapore.
Bhanchawat has been with Sony for the last five years and prior to this she was associated with Viacom International Media Networks in Asia and Africa.
