MIB issues licences to five new channels

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has issued licences to five new television channels, which include four non-news channels.
Krishna Showbiz Services has received the licence to start three non-news channels -- Dillagiii, Tak Dhina Din and Mauja Mostii. R-Vision India has also received a licence to start a non-news channel (in all Indian languages) -- RVision, while Malayalam Communications has received the permission to launch news channel Arabia.
Including the latest licences, the number of permitted private satellite TV channels in India is 826.
