NDTV launches new series ‘India Through the Eyes of Its Icons’

English news channel NDTV has started a new series ‘India Through the Eyes of Its Icons’ from 14 August 2024. This series is being jointly hosted by Nikunj Garg, Senior Managing Editor of NDTV and Marya Shakil, Executive Editor (National Affairs) of the channel.

The objective of this series is to bring forward the vision and contribution of those prominent personalities of the country who have enhanced the prestige of the country in various fields. The programme showcases the experiences, thoughts, and vision of great personalities who have shaped the social, cultural, and political landscape of the country.

In this programme, the history, present and future of the country will be seen through the eyes of these stalwarts, who have played an important role in the development and progress of the country. The show reflects their personal experiences, challenges and his life journey, allowing the audience to understand how their actions and thoughts impact the country.

Under this series, so far, famous sarod player Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and his sons Aman Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash, the Indian Hockey team that won bronze medal in Paris Olympics, renowned legal expert Harish Salve, Olympic medalist shooter Mani Bhakar and his Coach and Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha has been interviewed. Soon many more well-known names will also be a part of this series.
