NDTV Profit to be relaunched on Dec 8
The channel will be launched by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman
NDTV Group will formally launch NDTV Profit on December 8, Friday. The channel will be launched by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
“NDTV Profit returns in a new avatar showcasing the immense opportunities India presents to businesses, trade and the financial markets. India offers everyone a chance to grow, get rich and prosper. There are no boundaries, the opportunities are limitless,” the network said in the invite for the launch.
The evening and the channel will be a celebration of “Limitless India” and the women and men, who have contributed to this moment, according to NDTV.
NDTV Profit is the rebranding of BQ Prime. BQ Prime was earlier owned by Quintillion Business Media, which was acquired by Adani Group last year.
The original NDTV Profit was shut down on June 5, 2018. The decision to pull the plug on the channel, then owned by Prannoy Roy, was taken following mounting revenue losses. The announcement regarding the revival of the channel was made in January this year during a town hall after the takeover of NDTV by Adani Group.
