Q1FY23: Sun TV revenue up 47.38 % at Rs 1,193.90 crore
Advertisement revenues for the quarter jump 40.84 % at Rs.343.17 crore
Sun TV Network Limited has declared its Q1FY23 results. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 was up by 47.38 % at Rs.1,193.90 crore as against Rs 810.10 crore for the corresponding quarter ended June 30 2021.
The advertisement revenues for the quarter was up by 40.84 % at Rs.343.17 crore as against Rs 243.66 crore for the corresponding quarter ended June 30, 2021. EBITDA for the quarter ended 30th June, 2022 was up 54.32 % at Rs.763.83 crore as against Rs. 494.97 crore for the previous quarter ended 30th June, 2021.
The profit after taxes for the current quarter stood higher by 26.15 % to Rs.491.68 crore as against Rs. 389.76 crore in the corresponding quarter ended 30th June, 2021.
Further, at the board meeting, the Board of Directors declared an Interim Dividend of Rs.5.00 per share (100 %) on a face value of Rs.5.00 per share.
