Rajyavardhan Rathore is I&B Minister
Union Minister Smriti Irani remains in charge of Textile Ministry
In a mini-cabinet rejig, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given full charge of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to Rajyvardhan Rathore. Smriti Irani has been removed from her post, she remains in charge of Textile Ministry.
This is the third time the minister has been changed. Since 2014, when the BJP took charge, Arun Jaitley and Venkaiah Naidu have also led the I&B Ministry.
Irani's tenure as I&B Minister has been a controversial one. She was earlier removed has HRD Minister and offered the charge of Textiles which she still continues to hold.
