Regional broadcasters’ body ARTBI finalises its constitution
The Association of Regional Television Broadcasters of India, at its first annual general meeting in Delhi, has finalised the constitution that will govern the body. The AGM saw the participation of 30 regional networks and 150 regional channels.

It may be recalled that ARTBI was formed in the beginning of the year 2011 to safeguard several interests of regional broadcasters and engage the Government in a dialogue to amend few rules and regulations. The first internal meeting of the association in March discussed several matters of common interest and the problems faced by regional broadcasters of India. The meeting had also discussed developing a consortium of regional broadcasters for getting national and corporate advertisements.
