TRAI extends deadline for comments on paper on platform services by DTH operators

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for receipt of comments on ‘Consultation Paper on Platform Services offered by DTH Operators.
The deadline, which was September 27, 2019 has been extended to October 4, 2019. The draft regulation was floated for consultation by TRAI on August 29, 2019, inviting written comments from stakeholders, according to a statement put out by TRAI.
The deadline has been extended following requests from some shareholders. It has also been decided that no request for any further extension of time for submission of comments shall be entertained.
The comments received will be posted on TRAI's website.
