Trilogic Digital Media continues to run Sahara One and FILMY under the existing BAPADA Agreement

Contrary to media reports, Trilogic Digital Media Ltd continues to run Sahara One and FILMY under the existing BAPADA (Bulk Airtime Purchase and Distribution Agreement). The Programming, Sales, Marketing and Distribution of the Channels are run on a day to day basis by the TDML team. Only a Content MOU with SOMEL has been terminated due to logistical reasons. This was confirmed by Kamlesh Bhanushali, Managing Director, Trilogic Digital Media and Vishal Gurnani, Executive Director, Trilogic Digital Media to exchange4media.
Sahara One Media and Entertainment had announced in a letter dated in the month of August this year (to BSE) , that it had entered into an MOU with Trilogic Digital Media for the purchase of content from the company and to appoint the company as sole entity to seek, appoint and engage production houses for producing programme contents. The entering of the aforesaid MOU was also approved by the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on May 21, 2014.
