TV Today Network’s revenue up to Rs 192.92 crore in Q2
Revenue from television broadcasting stood at Rs 142.2 crore compared to Rs 140.2 crore in the same period last year
TV Today Network has posted its Q2 financial results. The company’s consolidated revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 rose to Rs 192.92 crore, compared to Rs 179.8 crore in the same period last year.
The net profit, however, narrowed to Rs 23 crore, compared to Rs 29 crore last year.
Looking at segment-wise numbers, revenue from television broadcasting stood at Rs 142.2 crore compared to Rs 140.2 crore. Profit from television broadcasting was Rs 26.92 crore as compared to Rs Rs 42.51 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue from radio broadcasting was Rs 2.77 crore, a fall from Rs 5.84 crore in the same peiod last year.
The network declared a d interim dividend of Rs 201 per Equity Share i.e. at the rate of 400% on the face value of Rs. 51 each fully paid-up, for the financial year 201 9-20.
