TV18 consolidated net profit declines 8.1% to Rs 16cr in Q3
Though revenue from media operations grew by 10.6% yoy to Rs 760.8cr, the film production revenue declined by 18.0% yoy

TV 18 posted its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2017.
It reported an 8.1 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 15.87 crore for the quarter ending December.The company had posted a net profit of Rs 17.27 crore during the same period previous fiscal.
Total income during the quarter was up 8.88 per cent to Rs 277.37 crore as against Rs 254.73 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
Total expenses during the quarter stood at Rs 260.91 crore as against Rs 238.41 crore in the same period a year ago.
Total tax expenses during the period were Rs 19.23 crore compared to Rs 6.11 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal.

TV in news and entertainment. We will continue to invest across broadcasting and digital,” said TV18 Broadcast Chairman, Adil Zainulbhai.
