Abhinandan Mishra has moved out of the Sunday Guardian. He was with the organization for the past nine years and was working as the Chief of Bureau. He is joining Dainik Bhaskar as Deputy Editor.
Abhinandan, a graduate from National Law Institute University, is known for his reportage on issues related to security and political developments. His stories are closely followed in the diplomatic, intelligence and political circles and are cited by government and private entities in Washington, London and Beijing.
His reports on Pegasus spyware had led to the formation of a fact finding committee in Chhattisgarh. Another report on political parties using foreign consulting firms had rocked the Parliament with the then Law and Justice ,IT minister, Ravishankar Prasad extensively quoting Abhinandan's explosive reports. His report on the ‘fake’ army coup story was quoted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the parliament in February 2019.
He has earlier worked with the New Indian Express, PTI, UNI, Qatar Tribune, State Bank of India (Probationary Officer) and the Indian Navy ( in the Judge Advocate General Branch).
