Alex Kuruvilla quits MTV Networks
After completing seven years, Alex Kuruvilla, Managing Director, MTV Networks India and Executive Vice President MTV Networks Asia has decided it’s time to move on. The announcement of his resignation has been made internally but details about who would take charge is still not known. As for where is Kuruvilla headed, “I have a few options but work here has been so insane, I didn’t have enough time to think about anything. I think I need a few weeks more to answer that.”

The announcement of his resignation has been made internally but details on who would take charge are still not known. As for where is Kuruvilla headed, “I have a few options but work here has been so insane, I didn’t have enough time to think about anything. I think I need a few weeks more to answer that.”
However, Kuruvilla points that his stint at MTV is not over yet. Says he, “They have asked to work on a few new business projects for which I still would be involved with the brand for some time.”
Speaking more about his stint at MTV, Kuruvilla says, “I have had the best time of my life here but there comes a time, when one has to look ahead. This journey has been an exciting one so far, of taking the MTV brand to the leadership position it is in today and working on two new channels.”
In his responsibility at MTV, Kuruvilla was looking after MTV, Nick and VH1. He divulges that he had announced his decision in the office last week but he officially resigned yesterday. Kuruvilla is expected to be in office till the end of this month.
