Alpha Marathi business head Nitin Vaidya to head Smile TV
Zee Network has announced the appointment of Nitin Vaidya as the Business Head of Smile TV. He would also continue as the Business Head of Alpha Marathi, informed an official communiqué.

Speaking on the appointment, Subhash Chandra, Chairman, Zee Telefilms, was quoted as saying, "It is a pleasure to enhance the role of Nitin Vaidya as Business Head for Smile TV. Nitin's association with Zee Network has been very commendable and successful in all his ventures. We wish him all the best in his new role." Vaidya has been with the network for seven years occupying various positions at Zee Telefilms.
Vaidya’s 17 years of exposure to the media world started as a reporter with Sakal group. Since then he worked at different levels as reporter, principal correspondent, special correspondent, chief of bureau, brand manager and chief executive at the state level as well as at national level.
He headed Zee News bureau in Mumbai and then was appointed as Channel Manager for Alpha Marathi. Afterwards, he took over as the Senior Vice President for Alpha Marathi channel.
