In a rather surprise move, Arpita Menon, Vice-President, Lodestar Universal has decided to move on from the agency. Menon has been with agency for over 12 years and has played a key role in various Lodestar initiatives like Labcentre, ImPress, Media Perfedia Involvement Index, Journeyman, Lodestar Matrix and so on.
In Lodestar Universal, Menon was looking after clients like the Tatas, Amul and so on. Industry sources indicated that Menon might not be continuing in the media agency side of the business. However, there was no clarity on details like her replacement or her next destination at the time of filing the report. Agency officials were not available for comments and further details regarding the move will be clear only by December 18.
Prior to Lodestar Universal, Menon had worked with agencies like JWT (then HTA), FCB Ulka and Chaitra Leo Burnett.
