Home appliances manufacturer Whirpool of India Ltd today announced the appointment of Mr Arvind Uppal as the company's new Managing Director. Mr Uppal would take over as Managing Director from February 16.

Home appliances manufacturer Whirpool of India Ltd today announced the appointment of Mr Arvind Uppal as the company's new Managing Director.

Mr Uppal would take over as Managing Director from February 16, a Whirpool release said here. He was earlier head of Nestle's Indochina Food Business Unit in Vietnam.

Mr Uppal replaces Mr Raj Jain, who has moved to China as the Regional Head Marketing and Product Delivery, Whirlpool Asia.
