Wadhawan Food Retail Pvt Ltd (WFRL) has appointed Ashok Bhasin as Managing Director. In this new leadership role, Bhasin will be fully responsible for designing business plans, strategy, and leading the overall operations across all brands under the WFRL umbrella (including Spinach, Sabka Bazaar, Smart, and Sangam Direct), and also future expansions across all formats. Bhasin had earlier worked with companies like Lakme, Reckitt Benckiser (then Reckitt & Colman), Whirlpool of India and Whirlpool Corporation, USA.
