Deepak Saluja new CEO of Vijay Karnataka
Saluja, who is currently Director of Response (South and East), replaces Ranjeet Kate
Times Group on Friday appointed Deepak Saluja as the CEO of Metropolitan Media Company Limited (MMCL) - a Times Group Co. - that runs Vijay Karnataka newspaper.
Saluja, who is currently Director of Response (South and East), replaces Ranjeet Kate who will now be handling “projects in the language spaces as well as other strategic assignments” in Mumbai.
Sivakumar Sundaram, Chairman Executive Committee at Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group), announced the shuffle on Friday in an email sent out to the staff.
A graduate of IIM Ahmedabad, Saluja joined the Times Group in 2017 and is known for creating and executing transformational ideas.
He has earlier led several Indian and multi-national organizations dealing in durables, semi-durables, FMCG, finance, telecommunication and the media sector. Saluja has led several top roles at the regional and national levels in India and Europe (Western & Eastern Europe).
