DNA’s parent company appoints Nagendra Bhandari as CFO
Nagendra Bhandari has also been appointed as DMCL’s Whole Time Director
Diligent Media Corporation Limited (DMCL), the company that runs the news portal DNA, has appointed Nagendra Bhandari as the company's Whole Time Director and Chief Financial Officer. He was earlier working as the company’s Executive Director – Finance.
“Nagendra Bhandari has been appointed as the whole-time director of the company for a term of 3 years from July 10, 2024 to July 9, 2027, subject to the approval of the shareholders. He has also been appointed as the chief financial officer of the company with effect from July 10,” DMCL informed BSE.
In its communication to the stock exchange, the company said that on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee, the Board of Directors in its meeting held on July 9, 2024 approved the appointment of Nagendra Bhandari, incumbent Executive Director - Finance, as Additional Director (classified as whole-time director) and Chief Financial Officer of the company, who has been designated with effect from July 10, 2024.
Nagendra Bhandari is a commerce graduate and a chartered accountant with 18 years of experience in finance and accounts. He has previously worked with Zee Group, Ankush Publications and India Today Group.
