Centre appoints Dr Amit Arya as Senior Media Consultant
Along with promoting the schemes of the central government, Dr Arya will also give suggestions to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting
Dr. Amit Arya, former media advisor to the Chief Minister of Haryana, has been appointed to the post of Senior Media Consultant under the Central Government. Under this appointment, along with promoting the schemes of the Central Government, he will also give suggestions to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Dr Arya said that under the new responsibility, he has been given charge of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir etc. He will work strongly for the publicity of the Central Government in these states. The responsibility of better coordination with the media world of the state will also be a part of his work.
Dr Arya resigned from the post of Media Advisor to Haryana CM some time ago. Amit Arya was the media advisor to Manohar Lal Khattar since 2014.
He told samachar4media that he had resigned from his post due to family reasons and would soon return to an active role. After this, the Central Government has entrusted him with the new responsibility.
