Scott Beaumont, President- APAC, Google, is set to retire this year-end. He has been associated with Google for about 16 years now. Beaumont joined Google in January 2009 as Managing Director, Partnerships, North & Central Europe and has held several leadership roles at the company over the years. 

Meanwhile, Sanjay Gupta, Country Manager - India for Google, has been elevated to the President of Asia Pacific.

As the President- APAC, he led operations in the Asia Pacific region including Japan, India, China, Korea, Australia. In his role, he created a shared vision and implemented strategic, cross-functional plans spanning 19 countries, including regional giants such as Japan, China, and India.

“Google is now at the forefront of an exciting new age of technology with AI. I shall look forward to following the progress, but happily now pass on the baton to my friend and colleague Sanjay Gupta", Scott said in a LinkedIn post.

Beaumont's tenure has been characterised by transformative leadership and strategic vision, which played a crucial role in expanding Google's operations across various global markets.

In his previous stints, Scott Beaumont has also worked with McLaren Racing, Refresh Mobile, T-Mobile International among others.
