Timex Group India Ltd (TGIL) has appointed Gopalratnam Kannan as President. He will be reporting to Kapil Kapoor, MD, TGIL. Kannan brings with him more than 18 years' experience in the watch industry, wherein he has worked for Swatch Group India and Titan Industries Ltd. Prior to joining Timex as Country Manager - India for the Swatch Group, Kannan was responsible for all India operations for brands like Omega, Longines, Rado, Blancpain, Tissot and Swatch. As President of Timex Group, Kannan will be heading the sales and marketing operations and all support functions, including finance and HR.
