GV Krishnamurthy joins Kannada news channel Samaya TV as Biz Head
Krishnamurthy joins in from Sun TV Network after a stint of six years, where as GM & Cluster Head (Sales), Gemini Group Channels, he was responsible for formulating & strategising business revenues
Kannada news channel Samaya TV has roped in GV Krishnamurthy as its Business Head. He joins in from Sun TV Network after a stint of six years, where he was GM & Cluster Head (Sales), Gemini Group Channels. At Gemini, he was responsible for formulating and strategising business revenues.
Commenting on his new role, Krishnamurthy said, “In Samaya TV, I look forward to take up a challenging role and work towards bringing the channel to leadership position in the Bangalore market.”
On his stint at Sun Group, he said, “Sun Group has always uniquely positioned itself in the television arena with consistent high quality entertainment, showcasing the best of movies, music and soaps. I am privileged to have been associated with them.”
Prior to joining the Sun Group, Krishnamurthy was associated with Affinity Media Services as GM - South. He had earlier worked in organisations including INNetwork Entertainment as Senior Regional Manager South, Technology Media Group; i2i Creative India and ZEE Group’s Siti Cable Network.
