India TV’s Gautam Sharma to join ABP News
This will be his second stint with ABP News. His last role was as Senior Vice President and Head of Sales of India TV
Industry sources reveal that India TV’s Gautam Sharma is likely to join ABP News as National Head of Revenue with most of sales reporting in to him as Avinash Pandey was promoted as COO of the company earlier this year.
This will be his second stint with ABP News.
Sharma’s last role was as Senior Vice President and Head of Sales of India TV, where he led and locked impressive revenues of more than Rs 100 crore. Yesterday, September 30, was his last day with India TV.
No official comments were available at time of filing the report.
Sharma had joined India TV in November 2010. Prior to that, he was with Star News (now ABP News), where he had worked as Assistant Vice President and Head of Revenue (North) for four years. Sharma has also worked with Aaj Tak, Star TV and Planman Media.
