Jyoti Kamal named Converged Editor at News18 India

Senior journalist Jyoti Kamal has been appointed as the Converged Editor at News18 India. He will work in tandem with News18 India channel editor Kishore Ajwani and News18 Hindi digital editor Dayashankar Mishra, both of whom will report to him. The development was announced by Santosh Menon Chief Content Officer at Network 18, India.
"Jyoti, known to us as JK, is an editorial leader who has admirably steered our Punjab, Haryana, J&K and Himachal Pradesh TV and digital operations to leadership.
His temperament, multi-platform expertise and leadership style will be important assets in this challenging and exciting role," he said.
He will oversee the national news channel as well as the digital and social operations.
He was the Managing Editor News18 Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal and Managing Editor of News18 Punjab Haryana.
Before his stint with Network18 and News18, Kamal worked with The Economic Times, The Indian Express, The Times of India and Mudra Institute Of Communications(MICA).
