Kaveree Bamzai steps down as Editor of India Today

Some top level changes have been seen in the India Today Group in the last one month. After Shekhar Gupta took over the reins as Editor-in-Chief of the Group last month, some movements have been expected.
Kaveree Bamzai, Editor, India Today has put in her papers. Confirming the news to exchange4media, Bamzai said that her stint with the India Today Group “was long and fruitful”.
She is a graduate of the Delhi School of Economics. She had earlier worked with The Indian Express and The Times of India and has also written two books on cinema – ‘Bollywood Today’ and two monographs in a 10-part book set, ‘Women in Indian Film’ (Zubaan).
Meanwhile, as per industry sources some senior journalists are expected to join the India Today Group soon.
