After a one-year stint, Kunjesh Parihar, CEO, Gujarat Samachar, has decided it's time to move on. Parihar has informed the publication about his decision and this is his last month at Gujarat Samachar. Confirming the development, Bahubali Shah, MD, Gujarat Samachar, informed that the newspaper had not yet decided on a replacement. Parihar's next destination is not known yet.
Shah couldn't offer any further details at the time of filing the report, nor was Parihar available for comments.
Parihar had joined Gujarat Samachar in October 2004, prior to which he was working with Escotoons as COO and Business Head. At Gujarat Samachar, he was looking after the overall functioning of the organisation, mainly in the domains of marketing, brand development, circulation, relaunches and other event-based activities of the publication.
Gujarat Samachar is a leading Gujarati daily. According to Indian Readership Survey and National Readership Survey, it is the lead player in the Gujarat market.
