Mahesh Chauhan elevated to new position of Group CEO, Rediffusion
In a significant senior level change at Rediffusion, Mahesh Chauhan, hitherto President of only the advertising agency Rediffusion DYR, has been appointed as Group CEO. With this move, all brands in the Rediffusion Group, with the exception of Everest Brand Solutions and healthcare division Suddler and Henessey, would be reporting to Chauhan.
In a significant senior level change at Rediffusion, Mahesh Chauhan, hitherto President of only the advertising agency Rediffusion DYR, has been appointed as Group CEO. With this move, all brands in the Rediffusion Group, with the exception of Everest Brand Solutions and healthcare division Suddler and Henessey, would be reporting to Chauhan.
This responsibility was so far managed by Group Chairman Arun Nanda. In that sense, this is a new position that the Group has created.
Speaking on the new responsibility, Chauhan said, “It is a combination of learning and doing. Sure, this is a new responsibility, but in a lot of ways it is similar to what one has to do, where at one level you would always be a student.”
It is understood that Chauhan would not be looking after Everest Brand Solutions for reasons of conflict. Suddler and Henessey remains out of his mandate for similar reasons.
