Satya Prakash has quit McCann Erickson as Business Director after a stint of four and a half years with the agency, where he was handling brands like Dabur, Compaq, Videocon, Subway, Hitachi and Metlife. He has joined BPTP as GM-Marketing from October 19, 2011. In a career spanning 12 years, this is his second stint at the client side.
Confirming the news to exchange4media, Prakash said, “It has been a wonderful time at McCann Erickson. However, I was looking out for a break from advertising and gain in-depth experience on one brand. BPTP is a promising player and I am excited to take on the new challenges.”
Prakash had moved to McCann after serving as Client Services Director for a year at Everest Brand Solutions. Prior to Everest, he had his first stint at the client side, working as Head – Marketing and Communication at Jaypee Hotels.
