Mukerjeas exit INX Media; Pradeep Guha steps in to consult
Following on the heels of the many exits at INX Media, Indrani Mukerjea and Peter Mukerjea, the promoters of the company too have now stepped down from their current management roles. In the meanwhile, INX investors have roped in industry veteran Pradeep Guha to consult on the way forward for the organisation.
Indrani and Peter Mukerjea, promoters of INX Media Pvt. Ltd are stepping down from their current management roles. Indrani will be doing so from end of April 2009 and Peter from end of March 2009. They will however continue to be shareholders of the company.
In the meanwhile, INX investors have roped in industry veteran Pradeep Guha to consult on the way forward for the organisation. Company sources have confirmed the development to exchange4media, and explained that for now, Guha would be in a “defined limited engagement”. However, the details of the engagement and what it would manifest into is not known at the moment.
It is also understood that Guha begins this consulting from next week.
In a company statement, Indrani and Peter said, “We have discussed this with our other Shareholders and have also requested them to make arrangements for transition.”
It may be recalled that in the last two months, INX Media has seen a significant churn in the organisation where many senior and mid management officials exited the company.
