Nikunj Garg has joined NDTV 24x7 as the Senior Managing Editor. Garg was previously with the Times Group as the Managing Editor of Mirror Now and Times Now.

He will be based out of Delhi and will oversee NDTV 24x7, with all teams reporting to him. Furthermore, Garg will be in charge of news gathering for both NDTV 24x7 and NDTV India.

Vishnu Som will continue to work with Sanjay Pugalia and Senthil C in his role as group Executive Editor (Defence & International Affairs) and senior anchor.

With over two decades in the TV industry, Garg has handled diverse functions and bureaus across different states. His extensive reporting spans Latin America to Southeast Asia, the USA, Continental Europe, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, focusing on breaking stories viewed through an Indian perspective on TV.

He played crucial roles at Star and Zee Network, showcasing his expertise.

Garg holds a Master's in English from JNU and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from YMCA.
