News anchor and senior TV journalist Pankaj Bhargava will soon join the Hindi news channel News18 India, according to reliable sources. However, there is no clarity about the new role he is entrusted with at the organization.
Bhargava's innings with the Hindi news channel India TV ended a few days ago where he was working since 2015. In his last role, he was Senior Anchor/Executive Editor.
Bhargava has more than two decades of experience working in media, both in radio and television. He used to host the program Subah Savere on Doordarshan. In the past, he has also worked for IBN7 (now News18 India) for about ten years, after which, he joined India TV.
Bhargava is originally from Shimla, where he completed his education. Later, he came to Delhi. Bhargava has covered a wide variety of topics of national importance, politics, entertainment, sports and cultural diversity.
He has also handled the live coverage of the earthquake in Nepal, the natural disaster in Uttarakhand, Mumbai terror attack, Anna Hazare's India Against Corruption movement and floods in Bihar and Delhi.
