Radio One’s Shariq Patel moves to Zee’s ICL
Radio One’s Shariq Patel has joined ZEEL’s Indian Cricket League (ICL) as Senior VP, Operations. ICL is a significant project for ZEEL that sees involvement beginning from ZEEL Chairman Subhash Chandra’s office to others in the ZEEL top management.
Shariq Patel, who put in his papers as VP, Operations and Marketing, at Radio One recently, ending a nearly four-year stint, has taken up his next assignment. Patel has moved into a different domain and has joined Indian Cricket League (ICL) from Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd as Senior Vice-President, Operations. He joined the ICL offices a week back. No official comments were available at the time of filing the report.
In his new role, Patel is reporting to Himanshu Modi, who is heading ICL for ZEEL. ICL is a significant project for ZEEL that sees involvement beginning from ZEEL Chairman Subhash Chandra’s office to others in the ZEEL top management.
Patel had joined Radio One when it was still GO 92.5 FM as Station Head in July 2003. He has seen the station’s transition to Radio One and the expansion beyond Mumbai for the station’s operations. At the time of quitting, he was appointed as VP, Operations and Marketing. Prior to that, Patel was working with Airtel.
