Three days after e4m reported about senior journalist Rahul Sinha joining Zee News as Managing Editor, the company officially announced it today. e4m reported this news on April 5. Sinha joins Zee News after a brief stint at TV9 Bharatvarsh.

In the new role, Rahul Sinha will be responsible to lead news operations of the channel and contribute to the success by strategizing editorial and channel programming, Zee Media said.

For Sinha, this move marks a homecoming of sorts, as he previously dedicated 18 years of his career to Zee News before joining TV9 Bharatvarsh in August 2020.

With over 26 years of experience in journalism, Sinha began his career with Veer Arjun newspaper in Moradabad. He then transitioned to television journalism by joining Jain TV, followed by a stint at Sahara Samay. In 2002, he embarked on his long association with Zee News, serving diligently for nearly two decades before parting ways in 2020.
Sinha's return to Zee News is anticipated to bring his wealth of experience and expertise back to familiar territory, potentially enriching the channel's editorial team and programming. However, until an official announcement is made, details regarding his role and responsibilities remain speculative.
