Ranjeev Vij joins VGC’s senior management
Ranjeev Vij of Rediffusion DY&R has joined Vyas Giannetti Creative as Associate Vice President of Delhi operations.
Rediffusion DY&R’s Ranjeev Vij has joined Vyas Giannetti Creative as Associate Vice President of Delhi operations. Vij would be heading account management across the board and will report to Delhi’s branch head Anjan Roy.
In his previous assignment, Ranjeev was leading the Airtel brand for close to three years. His previous stints have been with O&M, Enterprise and Lowe, where he has managed brands like General Motors, Dabur Vatika, Nestle chocolates, Usha International and Sony, to name a few.
Roy said, “Ranjeev has a rare mix of being able to focus on the big picture and a solid track record of consistent delivery. The passion is clearly for good work and he knows how to steer the team towards it.”
About his new role at VGC, Vij said, “VGC is an agency that has a strong entrepreneurship streak, focussing on newer forms of communication and a strong creative product — a combination that is tough to find and very satisfying once you do.”
After its inception in 2005, VGC Delhi bagged up accounts like The Indian Express Group, Jubilant Group, Godfrey Phillips and The Park Hotels, among others.
