Ravneet Kaur has been named the first full-time woman Chairperson of the Competition Commission of India, as per media reports.
Kaur is a 1988 batch Punjab cadre IAS officer.
She will be the fifth full-time chairperson of the regulator body.
Kaur has been appointed for a 5-year term. At present, she is the Special Chief Secretary (Food Processing) in the Punjab government.
