Senior journalist Rubika Liyaquat, who recently quit Bharat 24, may join NDTV, e4m has learnt from industry sources.

e4m reported the news of Liyaquat quitting Bharat 24 on December 7. Confirming her departure, Bharat 24's CEO & Editor in Chief Jagdish Chandra had shared, “The channel has accepted her resignation with a heavy heart. We respect her decision. Rubika's tenure of almost 6 months at Bharat 24 has been wonderful, but at times Rubika naturally felt that the platform of Bharat 24, a startup channel, was relatively small for her.”

Prior to Bharat 24, Rubika Liyaquat was associated with ABP for five years.

Liyaquat started her career in 2007 and has worked with media houses like News 24, Aaj Tak, Zee News, and Live India TV. She is known for her popular shows such as Taal Thok Ke and Master Stroke.

Liyaquat completed her graduation from Mumbai University and her media education from Futuristic Media Communication Centre (FMCC). 

e4m reached out to Liyaquat for the confirmation of the new, but she declined to comment as of now.
