Salesforce India has appointed Sangeeta Giri as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). She joins Salesforce India after an 8.5-year stint at American cloud computing and virtualisation technology company VMware.
"I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Salesforce-India!" Giri confirmed the development via LinkedIn.
In her last role at VMware, she was Senior Director - Asia Pacific and Japan - Cloud Automation. Giri joined VMware in March 2014 as Director - Sales (India & SAARC).
In a career spanning over 2.5 decades, she has worked in organisations like HCL Infosystems, SAP, IBM India, and BackOffice Associates among others.
