Satish Menon, former CEO of Sports18, has joined the Valuable Group as CEO, Caravan Talkies. Menon moved on from Network18 after a stint of more than five years. Menon has confirmed the development to exchange4media.
Caravan Talkies is a company working on a unique model of advertising, bringing the theatre experience to rural markets through mobile vans. The organisation claims to have received great response for the dry runs and expects to cover 35 villages in a week in clusters of seven.
The Valuable Group is led by Sanjay Gaikwad, Narendra Hete and Ameya Hete. The group also has UFO Moviesz under its umbrella.
In the course of his career, Menon has spearheaded various verticals and holds tremendous media experience. He has also had stints at Mid Day, The Times of India and Sunday Observer.
