Siddhartha Dasgupta has joined PVR Cinemas as Chief of Corporate Affairs. Dasgupta brings with him extensive knowledge and experience in his domain, having worked with chambers of commerce and industry, such as CII and FICCI. He has confirmed the development.
Prior to joining PVR Cinemas, Dasgupta was Vice-President, Media & Corporate Relations at Apollo International Ltd from Apollo Group.
At FICCI, Dasgupta rose to become Additional Director and Head of Entertainment Division. He also conceptualised, coordinated, organised and established FICCI Frames, the biggest annual global convention in Asia on the business of entertainment. Dasgupta has also been involved in setting up the FICCI Multiplex Association of India.
He had also worked as Head, Strategy & External Relations, UFO Moviez. Dasgupta holds an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
