STAR India moves Kaushal Dalal to Ad Sales
STAR India is making some changes in its Ad Sales division. The corporate has moved Kaushal Dalal, EVP, Business Development to Ad Sales. While Dalal's role encompasses strategising Ad Sales, there are consequently changes in EVP, Ad Sales, Kevin Vaz's role as well.

STAR India is making some changes in its Ad Sales division. The corporate has moved Kaushal Dalal, EVP, Business Development to Ad Sales. While Dalal's role encompasses strategising Ad Sales, there are consequently changes in EVP, Ad Sales, Kevin Vaz's role as well.
With this development, presently Vaz will focus solely for the sales function. Presently, the additional duties of inventory, placement and collection come under Dalal. He works closely with Vaz and is reporting into STAR India, COO, Sameer Nair. If the industry word is to be believed, STAR is also on the look out for an overall revenue head for STAR.
Of late, STAR Ad Sales has seen its share of problems with the number of exits from the organisation. Whether it is the senior management seeing the movement of Joy Chakraborthy or the mid-management seeing the departure of the likes of Simran, Anupama Gulathi, Swati, Sunil Chauth and so on. The junior level too has seen a considerable churn presently.
Despite repeated attempts, STAR India officials were not available for comments on this change.
