Suresh Balakrishnan is all set for destination next, after having resigned from Hindustan Times as Vice-President, Media Marketing. He is joining Zee Telefilms as Executive Vice-President, Marketing, where he would be responsible for marketing functions of all the channels in the group, except for the news channels. He would be reporting to Group CEO Pradeep Guha.
His tenure at Zee is expected to begin in March 2005. With this change, he ventures into the television space and will shift base to Mumbai, it is learnt.
Presently, Balakrishnan is serving his notice period at Hindustan Times in Delhi. He began his stint with HT in January 2003, prior to which he was heading Linterland, the rural division of Lintas Media.
