Sushant Sreeram has announced the news of his departure from Amazon Prime Video as Country Director. He took to LinkedIn to reflect on his six-plus years with the company, with a cryptic line about his "next adventure."

Some days ago, exchange4media broke the news of Sushant Sreeram's resignation from the company. We reported that he is set to join JioCinema as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

“As I move on from Amazon after six years, I want to take a moment to thank the incredible team, creators, and partners across the globe with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working. You’ve made Prime Video a delightful entertainment destination for our customers," he wrote.

“Together, we’ve seen our ambitions and relentless intensity not only establish the India business as one of the fastest-growing markets for Prime Video globally but also reshape the streaming landscape in the country. It’s been a gratifying journey working on impactful initiatives, from launching shows and movies to innovating products that enhance the Prime Video experience and ensure its accessibility across screens. I carry away fond memories, remarkable stories, and cherished relationships built in these 6 years. And now, onto the next adventure!" he added.

Sreeram, who was promoted to Country Director in 2023, joined Prime Video in 2018 as Head of Customer & Brand Marketing. He has been with the platform for over six years.

Before joining Prime Video, he led marketing efforts at Xiaomi India and has also worked with HolidayIQ.com, eBday, and HUL.
