Taco Bell hands over creative & digital duties to Media.Monks
The account will be handled out of Media.Monks’ Delhi office
exchange4media has learnt that fast-food restaurant chain, Taco Bell has appointed Media.Monks as its creative and digital agency in India.
The account will be handled out of Media.Monks’ Delhi office. Prior to this, Manja, the creative agency launched by BBH’s Arvind Krishnan and Leo Burnett's Prajota Guha Thakurta handled the integrated digital creative mandate for Taco Bell in India.
Confirming the development to exchange4media Azazul Haque, CCO of Media.Monks said, “Taco Bell is just the kind of brand we would love to build. Though a big name elsewhere in the world, Taco Bell in India isn't one of the top names that comes to our mind when we think of Quick Service Restaurants. Perhaps because Mexican Food is still not that famous in India. So, the challenge is to build not just the brand but taste buds for the various offerings of Taco Bell. And having partnered Harneet Singh in Domino's where we did some really exciting and unforgettable work, I am confident that building Taco Bell will be as exciting. He is one of the best marketing minds I have met. So, I am really excited and looking forward to working together with him again.”
exchange4media reached out to the brand but didn’t receive a comment at the time of filing the story.
Taco Bell is a fast-food restaurant chain that specializes in Mexican-inspired cuisine. Taco Bell Corp., is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc. In 2019, Burman Hospitality became the master franchisee for Taco Bell India.
