Times Now Editor-in-Chief Rahul Shivshankar stepped down on Tuesday, an official spokesperson of the channel confirmed the development with e4m. 

e4m could not immediately obtain Shivshankar’s version in this regard. 

Shivshankar's Twitter bio has been updated to “Editor-in-chief Times Now, 2016 to 2023”

Following Shivshankar’s exit, the operations of the channel will be under the charge of Navika Kumar, group editor with immediate effect.  
According to sources, Shivshankar quit all the WhatsApp groups of Times Now, including the editorial group, on Tuesday without any prior announcement.
 
June 21, Wednesday, will be Rahul's last day at the office.
